Starting from January 1st, 2018, businesses can now apply for a new Zealand Visa as well. Businesses that are eligible to apply for a New Zealand Visa include those who are travelling to New Zealand for business purposes, investors, and those who are coming to New Zealand to participate in an approved exchange program. To be eligible for a New Zealand Visa, businesses must provide evidence of their financial stability and ability to support themselves in New Zealand. Furthermore, businesses must have a good track record and be able to demonstrate that they will conduct their activities in a responsible manner.

Businesses can apply online or via the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s (MBIE) visa application centre. The application process takes around four weeks and costs NZD $550 per applicant.

Your passport valid for at least 6 months after your planned departure from New Zealand.

Your current visa or entry clearance document (if applicable).

Two recent passport-sized photos.

The visa application fee is NZ$160. You can pay the fee online using a credit or debit card, or by cash payment when applying at an embassy or consulate in your home country. If you are applying from outside of your home country, be sure to contact the embassy or consulate in advance to find out if they accept payment in foreign currency.
