Starting from January 1st, 2018, businesses can now apply for a new Zealand Visa as well. Businesses that are eligible to apply for a New Zealand Visa include those who are travelling to New Zealand for business purposes, investors, and those who are coming to New Zealand to participate in an approved exchange program. To be eligible for a New Zealand Visa, businesses must provide evidence of their financial stability and ability to support themselves in New Zealand. Furthermore, businesses must have a good track record and be able to demonstrate that they will conduct their activities in a responsible manner.
Businesses can apply online or via the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s (MBIE) visa application centre. The application process takes around four weeks and costs NZD $550 per applicant.
New Zealand Visa Application Process
If you are a citizen of either Ireland or the Czech Republic, and you would like to visit New Zealand, you can now apply for a visa. The visa application process is straightforward and takes only a few short hours to complete.
To apply for a New Zealand visa, first you will need to gather the following documents:
Your passport valid for at least 6 months after your planned departure from New Zealand.
Your current visa or entry clearance document (if applicable).
Two recent passport-sized photos.
The visa application fee is NZ$160. You can pay the fee online using a credit or debit card, or by cash payment when applying at an embassy or consulate in your home country. If you are applying from outside of your home country, be sure to contact the embassy or consulate in advance to find out if they accept payment in foreign currency. What are the Requirements for a New Zealand Visa?
To be eligible for a New Zealand visa, you must:

How Long is the Process?
Irish citizens and Czech citizens can now apply for new Zealand visas. The visa process is straightforward and takes around two weeks, depending on the applicant’s nationality. Applicants must provide a valid passport, visa application form, and copies of their identification documents. They should also have enough money to cover travel costs and accommodation during their stay in New Zealand.
Costs of a New Zealand Visa.
When traveling to New Zealand, it is always a good idea to have your passport and visa ready. The cost of a New Zealand visa depends on the type of visa you are applying for. The visa application fee is NZ$60 for Australian citizens, NZ$85 for British citizens, NZ$130 for Canadian citizens, NZ$180 for Mexican citizens, and NZ$270 for all other foreign nationals. There are also additional processing fees depending on the age of the applicant and the category of visa you are applying for. If you are married to a New Zealand citizen or have lived in New Zealand continuously for two years prior to your application, you can apply for a special category Migrant Visa which costs NZ$495. Once your application is approved, you will be required to pay an immigration officer to come and collect you at the airport or port of entry.
