Indian Visa Documents
Assuming you are a Barbadian citizen looking to apply for an Indian visa, the following documents will be required:
-A valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity and at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps.
-A duly filled and signed application form.
-A recent passport-size photograph (5 cm x 5 cm) with a white background.
-Proof of onward/return air ticket.
-Hotel booking confirmation or invitation letter from an individual resident in India.
-Proof of sufficient financial means to support your stay in India (bank statements, credit card statements, etc.).
-Any other documents required by the embassy/consulate (additional forms, etc.).
Losing a Passport
Losing a passport can be a stressful experience, especially if you’re traveling abroad. If you lose your passport while traveling in India, there are a few things you can do to get a new one.

Next, go to the local police station and file a report. This will help you prove to the consulate that you lost your passport and didn’t have it stolen.
Finally, make sure to cancel your old passport so that no one can use it to travel in your name. You can do this by contacting the Passport Office in your home country.
The Consulate Process
The consulate process for Indian visa applications can be daunting, but we are here to help. The first step is to gather all of the required documents. Appointments can be made online or by calling the Consulate.
At your appointment, you will need to present your completed application form, all required documents, and your passport. You will also need to pay the visa fee. The Consulate will then review your application and issue your visa. Please note that processing times vary and are out of our control. We appreciate your patience during this process.

As of October 26, 2019, Indian citizens who hold a regular Barbados passport can apply for an e-Visa to enter India. The e-Visa is valid for 60 days from the date of arrival in India, and allows for multiple entries into the country.
