There are a few countries that require a valid Canadian visa in order for French citizens or Germans to visit. These include, but are not limited to, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.

What Countries Do Not Require A Canadian Visa To Enter Canada?

According to the Embassy of Canada in Berlin, Germany, French citizens do not require a visa to enter Canada. Canadian citizens traveling to Germany do not need a visa. Do You Need A Canadian Passport to Enter Canada?

If you are a French citizen, you will need a Canadian passport to enter Canada. If you are a German citizen, you will need a Canadian visa.

Both of these visas can be obtained from the nearest Canadian embassy or consulate. Please note that if you are not a Canadian citizen, but have a valid passport from another country, you may be able to use that passport to enter Canada. However, without a Canadian visa, you will not be allowed to stay in Canada for more than six months.
