What documentation do I need for my travel to Turkey?

Travelers to Turkey must have a valid passport and visa. The passport must be valid for at least six months after your planned departure from Turkey. All travelers must also present a return or onward ticket, proof of funds (at least $600 per person), and an onward travel document (if required by your destination country).

The following documents are generally accepted as proof of sufficient funds: a bank statement, cashier’s check, or traveler’s check in the amount of $600 or more per person. If you are traveling with children, you will need to provide proof of primary residence and income in the form of a recent bank statement or income tax return.

If you are traveling as part of a group (five or more people), each member of the group must present a valid passport and visa. If you are traveling as part of a group but do not have any other documentation linking you to the group members, you will need to provide additional documentation confirming that you are part of the group. This could include an invitation letter from the group organizer, registration information from your hotel, or confirmation from the transportation company that you will be using.
